Our most popular Micropositioner offering true linear motion of 12mm in each axis (±6mm) X-Y-Z with 0.9µm resolution. Supplied in left hand version with Magnet On/Off Base for ease of placing and positioning on the platen.

This kit is configured in our common configuration to make purchase easier. Supplied complete with a coaxial tubular tip holder, 1.5m lead BNC plug, soft landing mechanism, bracket and cable clip. (KIT-EB-050E-80L-COAX).

The EB-050 series is available in both left-hand and right-hand versions with Permanent Magnet (M), Magnet on/off (E) or Vacuum bases (V) to suit all applications. Also available in 100TPI for 0.7µm resolution.

The EB-050 Series of Micropositioner’s from EverBeing offer 3-axis (X-Y-Z) movement, with 12mm of travel in each direction (±6mm).

The ease of positioning, size and true linear motion giving zero-backlash makes the EB-050E our most popular micropositioner. Supplied with a magnetic base that can be switched on/off using a slider at the rear of the assembly, means that this can be located easily and precisely into position. It is machined for demanding probing applications needing accuracy and repeatability with the ability to control ±6mm of travel with 0.9µm accuracy in all three axes.

Zero-backlash is achieved by swapping the traditional micrometer positioning system to a spring loaded tension held against 80TPI (Threads per Inch) lead screw. This means the lead screw is always in contact with and leadscrew, therefore you never see or feel the jump when changing direction. The 80TPI gives 317µm per 360 degree of rotation or 0.9µm per degree of rotation.
